Divorce is a big life transition for you and your children. I specialize in supporting families rearrange, process big emotions, gain tools, develop understanding and increase communication.
How I do that....
Play Therapy and Counseling
I offer play therapy and counseling to kids, tweens and teens. These are one-on-one sessions that provides kids with a safe space to learn more about emotions, gain skills and tools to deal with big emotions and gain understanding about their new normal.
Child Specialist
I work as a member of the team in Collaborative Divorce. Here I work with children to help parents hear their voice through the divorce process. This role allows parents to learn more about what children/teens preferences, concerns and hopes are through the divorce process.
Creating Parenting Plans
Creating a parenting plan that will help you outline how you will raise your children after separation or divorce. It typically covers key areas such as custody arrangements, visitation schedules, decision-making authority, and how to handle holidays, school events, and vacations. We will work together to find solutions to help your family rearrange in individual and joint sessions with your coparents.
Parent Training and Support
Let's be real kids don't come with a owner manual, I work with parents in order for them to gain skills and tools in order for them to support their children. Parents will also learn how they can protect their children as they work to rearrage their family.
Parent Faciliation
This is a court ordered process where I work with parents to in order for them to gain skills and tools to better engage in co-parenting. Please reach out to me to learn more about the process of appointing a Parent Facilator.
